Information Collected

Information collected on the CRTPro.com website is only used to complete your orders and supply you with service and support. We do not supplement your information with information from other companies.

In order to the utilize CRTPro's free tax software, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is not required to give contact information (such as name and address). We ask that you provide this information so that we may contact you about services on our site, send a confirmation e-mail, or contact you if we have any trouble processing your orders.

If you decide to purchase our CRTPro administration or tax reporting services, we request additional information. On the payment information page you have the option of either paying by credit card or paying by check or money order. If you decide to pay by credit card, financial information such as credit card number and expiration date will be collected. This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your order. If we have trouble processing an order, the contact information collected is used to contact you.

Third Party Intermediaries

We use an outside credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. This company does not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

Changing and Deleting Personal Information

You may choose to be removed from our mailing list by contacting CRTPro using one of the methods listed at the bottom of this page (email, phone, mail or fax). If your personally identifiable information changes (such as zip code, phone, email or postal address), we provide a way to correct, and update your personally identifiable information. This can be done by accessing your account online at www.crtpro.com and selecting "Login" in top right-hand corner of the home page.

If you do not want to receive promotional e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by sending an email to us at the address below or calling us at the telephone number below or writing to us at the address below and telling us that you do not want to receive e-mail from our company. Please make sure you supply the same e-mail address to us that you are receiving the e-mail from. In some cases, e-mail addresses are being forwarded by your ISP to another e-mail address. We must have the one that is listed in the e-mail you receive from us. In addition, users may unsubscribe by replying to the opt-out instructions at the bottom of each email they receive.

If you supply us with your postal address on-line you may receive periodic mailings from us with information on new products and services or upcoming events. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please let us know by sending email to us at the above address or calling us at the above telephone number or writing to us at the above address. When requesting to be removed from our mailing list, please provide us with your exact name and address.

Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders they have placed on-line. They also may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding new products and services or upcoming events. Service and Support Section of CRTPro.com

CRTPro.com offers support and customer service request forms to our customers. You may choose to submit a question through the service and support section of the CRTPro.com web site. The information submitted via the service and support section is not stored or shared with third parties, affiliates or partners. It is used to research your problem, provide answers, and/or request more information. If you make a suggestion using the service and support section of our web site, the suggestion alone may be stored, but no personal data will be stored with the suggestion.  CRTPro, Inc. does retain the right to use suggestions and product enhancement ideas to better the CRTPro web site and product line without obligation to you.

Use of Cookies

For each visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes only the consumer's domain name, IP address, access times and pages viewed. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. We use session ID cookies.  We do not use persistent cookies. For the session ID cookie, once users close the browser, the cookie simply terminates. A persistent cookie is a small text file stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
